Hotel Treehouse KV2

The new sound system of this unique London hotel is based on the audio systems of KV2, specified by the English audiovisual integrator Promotiontime NE.

Located in London, Treehouse occupies the site of the former hotel Saint Georges in Langham Place, and arguably boasts some of the best views in the city, with a casual aesthetic, playful and sustainable, designed "through the optimistic lens of childhood".

Hotel Treehouse KV2After closing more than eighteen months due to the pandemic, the hotel now welcomes its guests with the renovation of the sound system, thanks to the project carried out by the English audiovisual integrator Promotiontime NE, that has designed and specified the audio systems of KV2 for restaurant and bar areas, that fully occupy the plants 15 and 16 hotel.

Brian Graham, owner and CEO of Promotiontime NE, explains that "we visited other similar KV2 facilities with the CEO of Treehouse, Ayo Akinsete, and your team. Normally, most customer demonstrations focus on the intensity to use the products, maintaining impeccable audio, I mean, the volume that can be reached, but Ayo and his team also focused on the experience of low-level background music.".

Hotel Treehouse KV2In this last aspect "is where the KV2 product range stands out," Graham continues.. The efficiency and detail offered by their speakers means they sound warm and defined at low levels and lose absolutely nothing as the volume increases.. You keep hearing all the detail, which makes the listening experience exceptionally comfortable".

The restaurant Wood, located on the ground floor 15 by Treehouse, is a fusion between high-level Mexican cuisine and experimental gastronomy. Active during the day, is prepared to reach another speed at night: when the sun goes down, so do the lights, but the volume goes up as the energy level increases.

Hotel Treehouse KV2That's why, Graham selected a combination of the active series EX de KV2 -three compact EX6 and twelve EX10 more powerful-, which was completed with a couple of subwoofers EX1.5 and six passive subwoofers Esd 1.10, powered by two amplifiers ESP2000. A second area of the restaurant has four other EX6, five EX10, six ESD1.10 subwoofers and one ESP2000 amplifier.

Going up another floor, customers are in Nest, a nice rooftop bar decorated with foliage and natural materials, surrounded by a sumptuous outdoor terrace offering some of the best views in London. The atmosphere is designed to be fun and relaxing during the day and high energy at night.

Hotel Treehouse KV2Six EX10s were installed in this area, complemented by a couple of EX1.2 and another of EX1.5 subwoofers in order to help the DJ keep energy levels high well into the night.

The outdoor terrace has an ESD system, weatherproof, based on fourteen high-quality, low-profile ESD5 speakers powered by a pair of ESP2000. In the reception areas and in the assembly halls of both floors, more EX6 speakers have been deployed.

“The combination of EX and ESD products provided clarity, output and definition required in a pleasantly compact and discreet format.. One of the requirements was that the system had the least possible visual impact., so most of it is blown up, even subwoofers, and largely hidden among the leafy decoration".
