According to Christian Krela, PPDS channel director in Germany, new Munich showroom is company's first demo space focusing on full room solutions with collaboration and streaming technologies.

“Integrators trust PPDS to provide innovative visualization products for all types of projects, and the new Munich showroom demonstrates how third-party solutions, as the ClearOne collaboration team, can complement Philips displays to meet the needs of modern businesses”, Krela points out..

Each space in the exhibition hall offers an example of technological implementation.

The conference room, For example, has a microphone ClearOne BMA 360 ceiling beamforming, almost invisible, and a camera Unite 200 PTZ 1080p, that are connected to a DSP ClearOne Converge Pro 2 without the need for visible cables.

Combined with a variety of display options, which include a touch screen 86 inches, several digital signage and two digital photo frames, This solution offers great clarity and simplicity for all virtual collaboration needs.

the whole room, including hidden in-wall speakers and a wireless presentation system, is managed by a control system Crestron.

Other rooms have solutions adapted to various needs and budgets, like the classroom, that uses an interactive touch screen 86 Philips inches, along with a camera ClearOne Unite 50, a USB speaker Chat 150 and a wireless solution for sharing and presenting. Several rooms also make use of the Chromecast feature built into the Philips B-Line 75BFL2114.

“We chose several ClearOne solutions for these spaces because they offer great performance. They are compatible with other equipment and software, and can be installed with virtually no visible intrusion on the aesthetics of a room”, Krela adds.. “We also have employees who work in this building and meet in these rooms, so they had to be fully functional and offer collaborative experiences for daily use”.

Krela added that they considered other camera and microphone solutions, but found that ClearOne was the ideal choice for optimal performance, without requiring visible box-shaped components or cables, which would detract from the experience and could affect sales.

This is especially important when demoing to end users., who expect a finished, polished design that they can adopt in their own businesses.
