“One of the key markets for d&b is immersive audio”, Christian Orcin

Soundscape is the company's main immersive spatial sound proposal and, as Christian Orcin explains, general director at d&b audiotechnik Iberia, one of the main protagonists in his assistance to WHEREAS 2022.

The presence of d&b audiotechnik a WHEREAS in Barcelona was marked by the presentation of the amplifier 5D, a four-channel device that integrates audio network connection and flexible and compartmentalized distribution of output power. All in a very compact design.

This announcement was joined by the presentation of the new wood finishes from its Custom department “that can be applied to the entire installation series of d&b”. Orcin also comments on how this year they have released the EN54 certification of the entire amplification series.

The German manufacturer also showed at ISE a whole range of design solutions and installation technology such as the increased arrangement of the Serie A or the amplifier 40D.

Immersive sound
