Samsung Led Display Boosts Entertainment at Space Stockholm

A large curved LED installation Samsung, of 19×5 metros, covers the main stage of the live sports stadium from floor to ceiling Space Stockholm (Stockholm Space), a versatile center of culture and entertainment in the Swedish capital.

Located in the center of the Swedish capital is Espacio Stockholm (Space Stockholm), a digital culture and entertainment center 7.500 m2 spread over seven floors, with play areas, estadio, gym, restaurants and shops, work and collaboration areas, exhibition and more, designed by architecture firm DAP.

All areas of this versatile center are supported by digital signage technology, in which a great pared Led 8K located on the stage of 58 m2 of the stadium or arena, with capacity for a live audience of 550 personas.

This curved Led display wall, mounted from floor to ceiling and covering 19×5 meters of this space, corresponds to the manufacturer Samsung and his model IE025R, with 8K resolution and pixel pitch 2,5 mm.

Due to its dimensions, the screen required special installation, by Swedish assembly supplier HI-ND, in collaboration with Creative Technology, which has also been in charge of the integration of numerous LCD visual systems and AV technology in other spaces of the center, along with Pophouse Entertainment.

The LED panel is so curved, like the public address system L-acoustics and lighting equipment Martin Lighting y Ayrton create a high-quality, high-performance audio and video experience in this dedicated esports stadium.

All technology is connected to one system Crestron, which can activate technical functions via a tablet or mobile. This space is prepared to celebrate virtual and hybrid events, for which a new control room equipped with the latest transmission technologies has been created.

A Samsung Led screen has been installed at the main entrance, of 23×7 metros, con 4 mm pixel distance, mounted like a U inverted on the ceiling, covering an area of ​​about 5,000×1.700 pixels.

The image is extended further by a mirror located at one short end and forms a surrounding frame of the entire entrance. Creative Technology continues its participation in event productions with technical staff and project management, and has appointed a full-time technical advisor to support the daily operations of the space.
