SMART Technologies opens its first Technology Center Applied to Education

With the launch of this CTAE, SMART Technologies seeks to promote the use of its tools, integrate technology into teaching and learning.

SMART Technologies has just opened in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo) his first Center for Technology Applied to Education. The CTAE sees its birth after the signing of the protocol of intentions with the Board of Communities of Castilla-La Mancha, the past 4 November 2021.

The new Center for Technology Applied to Education will have, among its main objectives, carry out digital training activities aimed at teaching staff, both from Spain and Portugal and from Latin America.

Besides, The center will allow you to experiment and test the new hardware and software products that SMART Technologies develops, for subsequent distribution worldwide, and will serve as an educational technology showroom, in which face-to-face visits will be made with centers and organizations in the training sector.

“The CTAE will be the nerve center of training and digital teaching competence that will be carried out from SMART Technologies. We intend to arrive with face-to-face training, “remote and hybrid programs to teachers throughout the peninsula and Latin America”, explains Fernando Sanz, Area Manager for Iberia and Latin America.

The launch of this center seeks to promote the use of SMART Technologies tools, integrate technology into teaching and learning, and establish professional development and management of technological infrastructure in the educational field, facilitate public-private collaboration and the revitalization and technological training of teaching staff in the region.
