Clear Channel will manage the bus stop shelters in Valencia
Until the 2027, Clear Channel will be in charge of the modernization and maintenance of the canopies and totems of the bus stops on the city's interurban lines.
Clear Channel will take care of the supply, installation, advertising exploitation and maintenance of the canopies and signaling totems of the bus stops on interurban lines in Valencia.
This is a contract obtained through the competition called by the Valencia Metropolitan Transport Authority (ATMV) and which has an initial duration of 5 years.
Through this contract, the ATMV will be in a position to replace, update and expand the equipment of a total of 1.074 bus stops, through improved, state-of-the-art canopies and stop totems, made with recycled materials and 100% recyclable.
Updating elements includes the deployment of 829 dynamic electronic ink information panels with almost non-existent energy consumption.
Within Clear Channel's commitment to sustainability, in addition to recycled and recyclable construction materials and electronic ink user information screens, almost 900 Newly installed elements will be powered by solar energy.
This deployment of photovoltaic technology is the largest carried out to date. Along with those that Clear Channel is already installing in the metropolitan area of Madrid, there are more than 1.200 bus stops 100% energy-sustainable solutions that the company will soon implement in Spain.
For its part with this award, Clear Channel will maintain and expand its more than 550 advertising spaces in the main urban centers of the metropolitan area of Valencia, including installation of digital faces.
The tender for this contract to renew the interurban public transport bus stops in the metropolitan area of Valencia for a base budget of 15,4 million euros awarded by ATMV, will be funded in part by the Recovery and Resilience Facility (MRR).
