Panasonic brings projection to the UK's first immersive art center
Frameless It is the first permanent digital artistic experience in the country, that has counted on Panasonic as a technology partner, with the installation of more than fifty DLP laser projectors from 3 chips to deliver one million lumens.
With a surface of 2.787 square meters, Frameless will open its doors in the heart of the West End, in it Marble Arch from London, the next 7 October, to deliver the largest permanent immersive digital arts experience in the UK.
For its start-up, Frameless features Panasonic as a technological partner in projection and large format screens, in addition to collaborating with the live and immersive events specialist Creative Technology to integrate all AV equipment, and with Autograph Sound as audio supplier and installer.
The project is configured with more than fifty DLP laser projectors 3 chips from Panasonic that will deliver 479 million pixels y one million lumens of brightness to deliver truly stunning image quality in four immersive galleries, to which is added a fifth gallery dedicated to corporate and educational events (see attached video).
A second layer of immersion corresponds to the audio system, with an s360º surround sound reproduced in 158 R8 speakers from the British manufacturer EM Acoustics, con more than 36.000 watts amplification.
These speakers are used in each gallery, which provides audio with details, Impressive clarity and control. With a music score specially composed for Frameless, each gallery has a soundtrack and custom designed soundscapes, with interactive audio activated by audience movement.
All this is combined with the latest generation of media servers Hive, calibration chambers, switching sensors, movement and depth, to provide a unique and inspiring experience.
Panasonic will give Frameless an advantage over other immersive art experiences, since “it seeks to overcome the limits of projection like never before”, indicate from the manufacturer.
Using DLP technology 3 chips, los RQ22 and RQ35 projectors from Panasonic that have been installed within Frameless offer unique levels of brightness and resolution, along with stable and long-lasting color uniformity in smaller compact equipment.

To ensure a truly immersive experience, RQ22K and RQ35 laser projectors provide consistency in both brightness and color performance, allowing teams to blend seamlessly, avoiding distractions or imperfections that could break the connection with the viewer.
Besides, Panasonic will also showcase its MZ16 projection series a Frameless, offering long-lasting shine and high color rendering of 10.000 lumens (model MZ10K); of 13.000 lumens (MZ13K) and of 16.000 lumens (MZ16K) .
3LCD technology provides vibrant HD quality images, and its reliability is guaranteed by liquid-cooled laser diodes and sealed phosphor wheel, Protects against dust ingress for long-lasting shine.
Creative Technologies also collaborates with Frameless to provide and integrate all video systems in the attraction, offering related services in the four immersive galleries and in other spaces of the installation, including the lobby, the escalator and the coffee bar.
In the audio environment, Autograph Sound has been responsible for supplying and integrating all the sound systems in the different Frameless immersive galleries.

This immersive, multi-dimensional cultural entertainment experience offered by Frameless will feature iconic masterpieces from artists like Cezanne, Kandinsky, Monet, Canaletto, Rembrandt y Klimt, to name just a few, in four thematic galleries, which makes it a unique and different attraction for visitors of all ages.
To design this project, Frameless has had the collaboration of leaders in the technology sectors, artes, architecture and experiential events, including the award-winning digital content creative team at FiveCurrents, Emmy Award winner who has fifteen Olympic credits to his name, including London ceremonies 2012.
London will be the first facility of its kind, but there are already plans to implement multiple immersive art attractions in major cities around the world over the next five years.
