DIN renews the conference system at its Berlin headquarters with Shure MXCW
This German standardization institution has installed the technology of Shure, Crestron y Biamp for the distribution of audio and video signals in your conference centers and meeting rooms.
With national and international activity, German Institute for Standardization e.V. (FROM) is an independent German standardization platform that contributes to business sectors, scientific and public, as well as innovation so that technologies, products and processes are consolidated in the market and society.
In parallel with the renovation of its conference center at its headquarters in Berlin, New technology has been redesigned and installed for the distribution of audio and video signals in its thirteen rooms, as well as in two conference centers in areas adjacent to the building.
Among the requirements for the new system was the ability to videoconference with users' devices (Byod) and the ability to send any source to any output device, to broadcast the most important conferences to any room.
The conference center forum, located on the ninth floor of the DIN Tower, offers space for two hundred participants, in which everyone can contribute to the video conference from their own seat.
Plus new cameras, They were looking for conference technology with a high level of speech intelligibility and sound quality.. The system had to be designed to filter out echoes and unwanted ambient noise due to, especially, to the numerous microphone locations.
The German specialist Kuchem Conference Technology has been in charge of advising, plan, select products and install the new DIN conference system.
For this, a sistema 4K NVX de Crestron throughout the campus, which allows 100 people to participate and provides free routing of AV signals, which together with fifteen decentralized switches and Biamp Tesira servers distributed in different areas provide the necessary capacity to process signals.
The forum conference room, located on the ninth floor, has a videowall Led 4K five meters and sound system HK Audio, although the fundamental equipment is the conference system, con 91 Shure MXCW Wireless Drives, that ensure optimal voice intelligibility and provide numerous functions, such as the integration of interpreters, Talk time management and voting features.
MXW handheld transmitters, front display stand and Shure MXCW gooseneck microphones complete the system. All equipment is connected directly to Tesira servers through the red Dante, providing the power needed with AEC cards (acoustic echo cancellation) additional.
Each individual channel passes through an AEC module that precisely filters the reference signal from the remote station. The MXCW system is configured in such a way that only one participant can speak at a time.
Two additional mobile MXCW access points can also be installed in any conference room using Dante so that forum microphones can be used throughout the campus. Three PTX OneLink RoboShot cameras, which can be controlled and mixed centrally via a video console, They transmit and record what happens in the room.
The ten meeting rooms, equipped with large screens, digital PTZ cameras AVer and Biamp speakers, They also offer the best possible technical conditions. Using MXW wireless handheld transmitters and Biamp Parlé sound beam tracking microphones, Perfect speech intelligibility is guaranteed in video conferences.
Besides, all conference rooms, Discussion devices and integrated wireless microphones can now be used with the usual full-range functions, not only in face-to-face meetings but also in hybrid conferences.
All necessary functions, such as acoustic echo cancellation, They work automatically in the background so that the system is easy to manage by any participant, without the need for technical personnel.
