Neumann KH 150

With a compact format, the bi-amplified speaker Neumann KH 150 surprising for its great clarity, even at high volume, and very low distortion.

The German manufacturer Neumann, whose solutions it distributes Magnetron, has expanded its line of studio monitors with the KH model 150. A bi-amplified, DSP-controlled speaker with a 6.5” woofer, recently developed, with ultra-low distortion and high SPL capacity.

Despite its rather compact format, the K.H. 150 surprising for its great clarity, even at high volume, and an extended low range.

The K.H. 150 has a flat frequency response of 39 Hz a 21 kHz (±3 dB) and is recommended for all applications, from broadcasting to music production. Including styles that require high listening levels and/or deep, powerful bass, like urban music, EDM or soundtracks for films.

Neumann KH 150

“KH 150 bridges the gap between the KH 120 and the K.H. 310, But it does much more than that.", explains Stephan Mauer, Product Manager. “Its internal DSP engine offers many benefits, as a linearized phase crossover and a new level in tonal consistency. It is manufactured to extremely low tolerances of no more than ± 0,8 dB”.

Digital electronics also allow calibration through automatic alignment of MA monitors 1 de Neumann.

“The K.H. 150 follows the same philosophy as all the manufacturer's studio monitors: maximum linearity, minimal distortion, without coloration and perfect adaptability to any acoustic environment”, says Ralf Oehl, CEO of Neumann. “Its DSP engine integrates perfectly with the automatic alignment of MA monitors 1 from Neumann to obtain the best possible sound in any room”.

Besides, the K.H. 150 It is extremely energy efficient. Engineers have been concerned with developing amplifier technology, patent pending, combining high audio performance with Class D energy efficiency.

Although the KH amplifiers 150 deliver up to 145 W al woofer de 6,5” y 100 1” tweeter, consume only 17 W at rest. Auto standby reduces power consumption to 0,3 W when it has not been used for a while, but it can be disabled. Offers analog and digital inputs (S/PDIF). It will also be available with redundant AES67 audio network ports that comply with broadcast standards such as ST 2110, ST redundancy 2022-7 and Ravenna. At the same time, the K.H. 150 AES67 supports Dante-generated AES67 network flows.
