Powersoft reinforces its installation offer with new DSP+ equipment

The new Duecanali and Quattrocanali DSP+ amplifiers from Powersoft incorporate AES67 compatibility for high-performance audio over IP networks.

Powersoft has improved its range of fixed installation solutions by introducing versions compatible with AES67 of their amplification platforms Duecanali y Quattrocanali. The new ones DSP+ are capable of receiving audio streams over IP (AoIP) that comply with the AES67 standard, enabling high-performance AoIP interoperability across different network systems.

The new Powersoft DSP+ models, that comprise the Duecanali 804 DSP+, 1604 DSP+, 4804 DSP+ y 6404 DSP+ and the Quattrocanali 1204 DSP+, 2404 DSP+, 4804 DSP+ y 8804 DSP+, can receive AES67 streams natively by connecting the dedicated AoIP network port to an AES67 network.

Duecanali DSP+ and Quattrocanali DSP+ amplifiers are supported by a new version of ArmoníaPlus, design software, control and monitoring of Powersoft systems.

“These devices will allow system integrators to take advantage of the growing number of native AES67 audio products”, comment Giorgio Carminati, Powersoft Product Management Specialist. “The ArmoníaPlus v2.4 update will speed up the configuration process by allowing you to configure both the AES67 inputs and the DSP settings of the amplifiers in the same software”.

All Powersoft amplifiers with Dante card, including models Duecanali DSP+D y Quattrocanali DSP+D, can be configured to work with AES67 audio streams by enabling AES67 mode in HarmonyPlus o Dante Controller.
