Zoom Team Chat streamlines collaboration in hybrid work
Among the new functions that have been included in the collaboration center for companies is the possibility of sharing the chat, be able to respond via chat to an incoming meeting invitation and access Zoom Team Chat from anywhere.
Zoom has revealed the new features for Team Chat (formerly called Zoom Chat), the collaboration center for companies that allows teams to communicate quickly and securely, internally and externally.
Typing over Zoom means much more than using the chat tab at the bottom of the screen. The solution offers an efficient solution center with chats and channels to keep projects on track, and so, ensure efficient contact with the entire team.
Zoom Team Chat makes collaboration easier by collecting messages, share files, third party applications, video, voice and whiteboard on a single platform, simultaneously.
From any conversation, Users can activate the whiteboard, turn chat into a meeting or phone call, or even, share a recorded video message, all within the Zoom platform.
Zoom Team Chat is not just for communication between employees in an organization. Also, offers a linear and secure messaging experience for external contacts. Users find a notice next to the “write” box so that when participants are busy or absent, They are informed of their access to the app.
New visual representation
Team Chat also has a new look. Zoom updated the colors of its typography, product icons and launched a global campaign featuring new visual elements representing its unified platform.
The well-known Zoom logo will remain the same, but has replaced the “Os” in its name by icons to communicate that it is the only platform where the connection is really made. The new Team Chat icon is placed first in the list of tools to demonstrate this hub that connects all the application's workflows.
New features:
- Share a meeting chat with the team, including your links, relevant files or information.
- Schedule meetings directly from chat.
- Generate “auto-response” reminders and notifications, so that when a called user is in another meeting, be notified at a more convenient time.
- Reply via chat to an incoming meeting invitation. Users can send a message to the person who invited them, to let you know they are busy or will call you back.
- Access Zoom Team Chat anywhere. Allows direct access from the browser so users can collaborate outside of meetings with chat, even if the Zoom app is not installed.
