Genelec brings immersive sound to Wake the Tiger Park in Bristol

Born from the creators of Boomtown Fair Festival, Wake The Tiger Amazement Park It is an immersive artistic experience, located in Bristol, which consists of 27 different creative environments and include works of art, facilities, narrative, soundscape and secret passages.

Once you go through the portal, you arrive at Meridia, a world similar to the real one where an old abandoned factory is located, a time capsule full of messages, theories and experiments.

An experience of this type required high quality sound. AF Live , a technical production company, took charge of the project and designed a bespoke system that suited their specific requirements.

For Paul Rose, Wake The Tiger was a first for AF Live with a Power-over-Ethernet installation (PoE) complex and unique. “We needed a system that was smart and reliable, and Genelec speakers did both. “The expertise offered by Audiologic to AF Live during this project helped ensure a seamless implementation and fostered lasting confidence in the Genelec product.”.

Producing the clarity and intelligibility for which Genelec has become a benchmark, he 4420 and the 4430 are compatible with the Dante and AES67 audio streams and obtain power through PoE and PoE+ Power-over-Ethernet formats.
