Brompton brings its Led processing to Taiwan's largest virtual production studio

With offices in Taiwan and Australia, the film and television producer Reno Studios has recently inaugurated some innovative virtual production facilities, located in the oldest Taiwanese film studio in the country, Central Motion Picture Corporation.

The volume Led curvo of the study is made up of AUO panels with pixel pitch de 1,95 mm, with dimensions of 12 meters wide by 5 high, that admit the 99% DCI-P3 color space.

The main wall of the virtual production studio is made up of three groups of LED panels (left, center and right), each of them controlled by a Led Tessera SX40 4K processor and three data distribution units XD 10G card.

Among the additional advantages that Brompton offers to the special effects team at Reno Studios, Huang points out how Tessera processors free images from color variations or screen tearing caused by video latency, so that the scene model and animation special effects can be presented correctly, “and that the entire filming process is much more fluid and without complications”.
