Nationwide Arena Upgrades Digital Signage Network with SNA Displays

This multipurpose sports pavilion has once again opted for LED technology. SNA Displays to expand your digital signage network with 50 new screens.

He Nationwide Arena, home of the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL), has updated its digital signage network with the addition of more than 50 Led screens SNA Displays.

“Host of events since year 2000, needed major renovations, and the digital screens that SNA Displays has installed have helped provide a more modern venue for our guests and players alike.”, explains Derek Smith, general manager for Nationwide Arena National Arena. “Having all the digital resources inside the stadium and above our entrance doors contributes to improving the experience. “Our team tunnel is the best in sports and allows us greater flexibility with messaging and content.”.

As part of the improvements, SNA Displays has updated dozens of static signs with video screens Bold y Brilliant indoor throughout the stadium. The program has also included new Led signage for several rooms and hallways in the stadium., as well as several Led Empire screens outdoor at the east and west entrances to the venue.

Anthony James Partners (AJP) provided consulting services during each phase of the project and selected SNA Displays to provide the Led display systems.

One feature of the update is a custom three-sided display known as a 'waterfall'. The display system is located in the tunnel and includes two display screens. 2,7 meters high that are in a corner, joining a ceiling screen 3,3 meters that extends down the hallway, making custom settings ideal for anamorphic and 3D creative content.

Other highlights include removable screens for both player tunnels, as well as a slim profile wall-mounted Led screen used as a backdrop for press conferences.

“Coordinating specifications and logistics for dozens of LED assets of various sizes and shapes was a big task”, explains Michael Senger, senior project manager at SNA Displays. “Nationwide Arena has done a good job of improving the digital signage experience for fans, players and staff.

The new improvements constitute the second phase of the updates made two years ago. In 2021, SNA Displays built and installed a state-of-the-art LED mini-center hanging in the Columbus Blue Jackets players' locker room as part of a major renovation also designed by Anthony James Partners.

American Interstate Signcrafters y SoundCom provided installation services, y ~the point provided a new content management system and media server for upgrade.
