Brompton shows the new generation of Led processing solutions
The G1 card and TrueLight technology for controlling Led panels have starred in the offer of Brompton during his recent participation in the edition 2023 of InfoComm, in the pavilion dedicated to digital signage.
The new solutions in Led video processing of Brompton Technology have been one of the attractions that the professionals who attended a few days ago InfoComm 2023 have been able to meet in the digital signage pavilion, with the receiving card G1 card latest generation and technology TrueLight as protagonists.
This is what he pointed out Cesar Caceres, Brompton Technology Product Manager, “This year we are proud to showcase our next generation solutions at InfoComm 2023, like G1 receiving card, "We created it as a platform to prepare the panels for the increasingly complex software and algorithms necessary to optimize the visual performance of the LEDs."
The processing power and capabilities of G1 “paved the way for our new TrueLight technology, that offers cLED panel control that have additional emitters, and this is just the beginning", Cáceres emphasizes.
Brompton's Tessera G1 receiver card offers twenty times more computing power than the current Tessera R2+, and is designed to control new generation Led panels that can satisfy the extreme requirements of the virtual production and other fast-growing segments that demand maximum performance, like simulators and eGames.
Besides, G1 is already being integrated into the new panels of the main LED manufacturers, what they will offer finer pixels, Ultra-fast frame rates and wider light spectral output thanks to addition of Led emitters additional per pixel.
TrueLight, controlled by Tessera G1 receiving card, allows you to control LED panels with additional emitters, like RGBW. This technology provides great advantages in situations in which LED panels contribute to the lighting of a scene., as in a virtual production volume, where recreating reality is a top priority and the narrow spectral output of conventional RGB panels can cause unnatural color shifts and skin tones.
TrueLight se basa en la dynamic calibration technology Brompton, a system that provides full spectral calibration for additional emitters. Ensures colorimetric accuracy and full color and luminance correction are applied pixel by pixel, which allows a smart RGB to RGBW conversion, to deliver wider spectral output and better lighting quality, maintaining color accuracy.
Besides, TrueLight leverages other features of Tessera's software platform, as PureTone for consistent linearity of the RGB Led output and ‘W‘; ThermaCal for temperature correction of all LED colors; ShutterSync to eliminate in-camera artifacts for direct view applications, y Extended Bit Depth to improve the dynamic range of the video output.
