RCF enhances the history of the Croatian castle of Trsat with immersive audio
The speakers from the Business Music range of RCF, installed in the three chambers of the crypt of this fortress, offer an immersive audio experience that complements the multimedia interpretive environment of your story.
He Castle of Trsat It is one of the most precious historical sites in Croatia; a 14th century hilltop fortress overlooking the city and attracting visitors from all over the world. As part of the project Underground Rijeka, The Croatian Tourist Board has renovated this facility to create a immersive multimedia environment and personalized to visitors and transport them to the past.
The Croatian integration company LOW Project has been responsible for the design and installation of an audio solution to complement the new multimedia interpretive approach, based on the use of RCF speakers.

The castle crypt area was divided into three distinct zones, each one focusing on a different aspect of its history and legends. In the first chamber, covering the general history of Trsat, six compact two-way speakers were installed RCF WMR 50T.
According to Valenta, “The WMR 50T speakers were easy to mount using standard and custom brackets, and the sound quality exceeded our expectations. RCF gave us studio quality audio in a very discreet and adaptable case.
The second chamber has another set of WMR 50T, together with two WMR 60T bigger. The final chamber was designed as an immersive culmination of the experience, with projections and two more WMR 50Ts providing localized audio.
The system is powered by two amplifiers RCF DMA 162P, Chosen for their advanced processing and system control capabilities. All components are connected through a digital processor Xilica A0808 for general system control.
