Super 8 Media renews with Samsung its vertical LED in the Plaza de Callao in Madrid
The digital outdoor advertising specialist Super 8 Media has turned on its new commercial Led screen, of the XHB-TB model Samsung, with a pixel pitch of 6 mm and 8K@60Hz HDR real-time processing, fruit of the project carried out with Mom, Tasvalor y GZO.
After seven years broadcasting on average eighteen hours a day, the large DOOH vertical screen that it has managed since the year 2017 Super 8 Media, installed on the facade of the number 5 from Madrid's Plaza de Callao, has reached the end of its useful life and has been renewed for a LED model XHB-TB from the manufacturer Samsung, that offers a resolution of almost six million pixels.
Pioneer in large format DOOH in Spain, Super 8 Media, brand of the group specialized in digital advertising media Super 8, has counted towards the completion of the project, choice of equipment and engineering with the technological services company Mom, as well as with the participation of Tasvalor Architecture as responsible for construction management, and with Global Zone Objetives (GZO) as responsible for executing the installation.
With a pixel pitch 6 mm, the new DOOH vertical screen, of more than 220 m² and that makes it one of the largest in the world in this format, processes signals in real time with a 8K@60Hz HDR quality to handle up to six million pixels with ultra-high image quality.

Super's mission 8 Medium is location selection, installation, content creation and marketing of advertising space on your outdoor digital screens. It currently offers Madrid the greater foreign digital commercial support with its giant Callao screen 5, to which are added the five screens located on the façade of the Palacio de la Prensa building and that of the Nuevo Centro shopping center in Valencia.

The screen renovation project, which is estimated to have a duration similar to the previous one, has counted on the work of dozens of people from the companies involved, and the participation of the teams from the visual display division of Samsung Spain, MCRPro y Scala.
