Audac provides the immersive soundtrack for 'Legends': the home of football’

Located in the center of Madrid, a few meters from Puerta del Sol, this space, created by The League, FIFA, UEFA, Conmebol y COI, offers visitors a complete tour of the history of this sport and memorable moments in a unique experience.

This space, of 4.200 m2 distributed over seven floors, shows an impressive heritage of this sport, composed of more than 5.000 objects in the form of t-shirts, boots and other original items that great football figures have worn for more than a hundred years.

The Wow Experience has been the provider and installer of the audiovisual content of this space, whose team, directed by Daniel Pacheco, has taken care of the gcontent management and servers; red digital signage, and DMX and Artnet lighting. A project for which he has had Ingenioa3, AV engineering specialist, as technical partner.

An essential requirement in this project was that the saudio system was fully distributed over the network, as well as that the installation had the capacity to evolve, since many rooms that now have stereo content can become multichannel in the future.

With this premise, Ricardo Carazo, engineer and partner of Ingenioa3, contacted SeaSound, exclusive distributor of the speaker brand for installation Audac in Spain, to find a high-quality solution that would be distributed to the 100% in Dante.

Specifically, it was decided to use passive speakers of Audac throughout the installation; that everyone was Powered by Dante-enabled amplifiers and that they will be managed remotely, to deliver optimal sound to this immersive experience.

The main challenge of the project was sound a seven-story building with a multitude of rooms, many of them multichannel, some with common content and others independent; in addition to common spaces, like the entrance, hallways and stairs.

This large and somewhat heterogeneous audio installation has about four hundred Audac speakers. To provide all amplifiers with Dante connectivity, has been integrated into each one ANI44XT card from this manufacturer, Designed for use in its series systems WaveDynamics, with four input channels and four output channels.

This is a ready-to-use solution that automatically configured via DHCP, con connection to networks 100 MB o de 1 GB, facilitating the transmission of two-way audio to 48 kHz y 24 bits, with a maximum latency of 5 ms.

Other interesting aspects of this card is that it allows you to enable the app control TouchLink, Ideal for end users to easily manage audio, in addition to the possibility of also integrating the sisma of warnings Audac Touch Page and his AES67 support.

Adjustments and configurations by the integrator have been made using the WaveDynamics application. This control and processing platform is integrated into the amplifiers, allows remote management and account starting with an extensive library of Audac speakers, in addition to having parameters to adjust performance and thus protect the speakers.
