Jungfraujoch optimizes the traveler experience with Prolights lighting
In this railway station in Switzerland, they have been used 18 projectors Prolights, 10 Mosaic L and 8 StudioCob PlucFC, for its new interactive installation 'Top of Europe'.
The teams of Prolights They are part of the new interactive installation ‘Top of Europe’ of the Jungfraujoch railway station, the highest in Europe, located 3.454 meters above sea level. Commissioned by Jungfrau Railways (Jungfraubahn Holding AG), seeks to make the station more attractive for travelers.
Iart has been in charge of the installation planning and lighting design, y PlusMusic, Prolights distributor in Switzerland, has provided the lighting equipment. The final choice includes 18 projectors from this manufacturer: 10 Mosaic L for image projections and gobos, y 8 StudioCob PlucFC for color projections.
The centerpiece of the installation is a cortina metallic formed by multilayer chains, designed to give a new look to the place. With an extension of more than 30 metros, creates an interactive path between the train platform and the observation deck.
The curtain is illuminated with StudioCobs and Mosaico L, simulating sunrise at the arrival of the train and guiding travelers towards the mountainous panorama. During departure, when passengers return to the platform, the stage transforms into a night atmosphere.
Mosaico L projectors with gobo projections offer interactive areas for travelers to take fun or suggestive photos, to share online and create memories.
Besides, during specific periods such as summer or Christmas, the installation becomes thematic, with music, adequate lighting and projections, improving the visit experience.
