The Dutch theater Gouda Schouwburg migrates to Robe Led lighting

More than two hundred LEDs Robe configure the new lighting system of this popular cultural facility, that has integrated the specialist Controllux, after winning the public tender.

The Dutch municipal theater Gouda Theater (Gouda Theater) It is a busy center of the artistic community of this city, world famous for its cheese, with more than three hundred performances a year, which include everything from comedy, cabaret or dance to musicals.

As part of a recent update, those in charge have chosen to change their lighting system to Led technology. Specifically, More than two hundred LED luminaires from the manufacturer have been installed Robe, including 94 T11 Profiles, 40 ParFect 150s y 32 iBar 15s, the latter specifically for cyclic lighting, in addition to 34 T1 Profiles, 20 T2 Profiles, 24 LedBeam 150s y 32 LedBeam 350s.

The new lights have transformed the theater into a Led environment, further sustainable, flexible y rentable to operate, in its two spaces: the great auditorium, with capacity for 813 personas, and another smaller one, con 232 seats.

After winning the public competition called by the municipal authorities on which the theater depends, the specialist Controllux proposed Robe luminaires to replace the theater's lighting system with Led technology from the Czech manufacturer.

“Illuminators and operators now have many more options and can be much more daring in their shows. Having all the lighting powered by Robe also means we can work faster and more efficiently.”, assures Bart Peijen, theater technical chief.
