Prolights at The House of the Sailors

EclPanel TWCMini2x1 systems have been installed on the ground floor of this Croatian interpretation center. Prolights to recreate a maritime atmosphere, while warm white light has been used in the staircase through DisplayCob TRWDWW. In the attic and exhibition area, the EclMiniProfile solution has been chosen.

The teams of Prolights illuminate the interpretation center 'La Casa de los Marineros'’ en Kostrena (Croatia), conceived as a cultural and tourist facility dedicated to promoting and disseminating the maritime traditions of the area.

This center was designed as a journey by sea, the earth and the sky, organized within La Casa de los Sailors in four thematic units: the ground floor, which represents the sea; the first floor, what represents the terrain; the attic like the sky; and the stairs as the route that visitors take between these three elements.

“The client wanted to represent the journey through lighting”, explains the team LOW Studio, the company that designed and installed the lighting system. “We were tasked with a solution that met the needs of the project and integrated with the architecture of the building.”.

For the ground floor, which represents the sea, they integrated EclPanel TWCMini2x1. Thanks to advanced color control and RGB+W sources, were the ideal solution to recreate a suggestive maritime atmosphere with soft and precise colors.

for the staircase, which symbolizes the passage between two elements, warm white light was used through DisplayCob TRWDWW, creating a warm and welcoming but neutral environment between the two parties. The attic and exhibition area of ​​the fair were illuminated by EclMiniProfile, which allowed simple and uniform illumination of the field, thanks to integrated W-DMX protocol for wireless control.

“The versatility and quality of Prolights products played a crucial role in the completion of this project”, comments from the LAV Studio team. “The selected lighting solutions fully satisfied the project client, meeting expectations in terms of flexibility and visual performance, which allowed us to easily create an attractive environment that respected the theme of the journey through the maritime tradition of Kostrena”.
