PPDS has started its journey in InfoComm 2024 with the launch of its new Philips Genius educational software, Technology-agnostic provides collaborative teaching and learning experiences, no restrictions, to any classroom and interactive screen.

Presented at their booth in Las Vegas (W2544), Philips Genius delivers latest evolution in PPDS strategy to drive evolution in the classroom, with the company reinforcing its commitment to offering 'total solutions', including hardware and software, to achieve smarter and higher levels.

After a year of development, PPDS's first in-house educational software, is a GDPR-compliant platform that brings together comprehensive tools and capabilities for educators to create and deliver professional, engaging intelligence-driven programs..

Secure and easy to navigate, Philips Genius enables educators schedule your lessons, either directly on an interactive screen or remotely 24/7 via a web browser or a dedicated application, compatible with Android devices, Windows e iOS.

Content is saved to a personal Philips Genius account/library and can be retrieved and displayed on interactive screens with this software, installed seconds after the educator enters the room.

Login is fast and secure, and educators just have to scan QR code on screen using your connected device's camera or by entering your unique username and password.

Bring lessons to life

Educators have access to a wealth of premium third-party apps and content, as well as the ability to import/embed YouTube videos, PDF files, Word documents, excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, etc. Educators can link to other sources and software, including Google Classroom, to offer breadth and depth across the curriculum.

Philips Genius, that encourages and facilitates collaboration in the classroom and used in conjunction with Philips Collaboration interactive displays 4152 y 3152, It also offers the familiarity and functionality of a traditional whiteboard, allowing students to share, either directly on the screen or through your device. Among the many tools included are digital pencil/pen, highlighter, blotter, images/shapes and lines, ruler, squad (triangular rule) and transporter.

Additional features, that further help classroom activities, include a flashlight, calculator, voting app, video conferencing and much more.

Designed to make life easier for both educators and students, Philips Genius enables screen sharing directly to a student's personal device in the classroom and at home, if you study remotely.

All content displayed on the screen can be saved and shared directly (via URL or email) with students at the end of each lesson, allowing them to create clear and precise topic notes for easy reference and review through OneNote or another filing system.
