PPDS carries out the largest indoor installation with Philips dvLED in the MK-7

PPDS has announced the latest evolution of its association with Oracle Red Bull Racing. This is the installation of a videowall dvLED Philips of 46,25 meters wide inside the newly renovated MK-7 headquarters of Formula's reigning giants 1 en Milton Keynes, United Kingdom.
The MK-7 enclosure 1.004 m2, located within the Red Bull Racing technology campus, is one of the most unique and immersive experiential event spaces in Europe and has welcomed and entertained visitors from around the world since 2018, offering an F1-inspired environment for companies and individuals, with memories, Oracle Red Bull Racing championship-winning cars and artifacts around every corner.
Oracle Red Bull Racing wanted a new look and feel for the MK-7 event space, since the existing audiovisual configuration was considered obsolete, too static, and no longer reflected the values of its brand or the world of Formula racing 1.
Setting the rhythm
In search of a more dynamic way, versatile and immersive to host its wide and varied range of events, Oracle Red Bull Racing once again turned to its partner PPDS to transform the MK-7 experience and create a spectacular Philips dvLED horseshoe wall custom designed.
With measurements of 46.25×2,75 metros, la pared Philips Public dvLED (considered the largest dvLED wall installed in an indoor event space in Europe) It has been built to provide a centerpiece for the main auditorium and a perfect backdrop for the growing horseshoe of F1 cars on display.

This collection of F1 cars ranges from 2005 (the team's debut in F1) even those driven by the current three-time world driver champion (2021, 2022, 2023), Max Verstappen.
Formula for success
PPDS, official supplier of the Oracle Red Bull Racing team since 2022 and exclusive to digital screens from 2023, was associated with Ruitech Solutions, audiovisual integration specialist based in the Netherlands, for this transformative project.
No visible windows or natural light within the main space of the MK-7, the Philips Public Led series 7000 has been the option for Oracle Red Bull Racing, with high refresh rates, color and shine quality, along with a distance between pixels of 2,4 mm, giving a total screen resolution of 19,240×1.144 for optimal image performance and viewing experiences.
In addition, Philips Led screens allow you to keep cables tidy, with chain-linked display cases for both power and data, which minimizes clutter. The low power consumption of the Philips Public LedED series 7000 also met PPDS and team sustainability commitments, while Active Health Monitoring makes maintenance and parts replacement predictable, fast and efficient.
Beginning of a new era
The project was completed in 23 days, starting with the creation of a independent mounting system dedicated supplied and supported by Vogel's. This was followed by the installation of 484 paneles Led 41BDL7224L y 33 panels 31BDL7224L. The content is brought together with a Novastar H9 LED controller and a CMS system to facilitate its management.
To celebrate this new era for MK-7, The new Philips Led video wall was officially presented during a special grand presentation event of PPDS 'Advancing dvLED’ he 10 September, con Christian Horner, Team Principal and CEO of Oracle Red Bull Racing, between guests.

This latest collaboration between PPDS and Oracle Red Bull Racing follows the recent upgrade of the MK-7 marketing team offices in the same building, which included 13 interactive displays and digital signage that “revolutionized the game”.
PPDS also continues to exclusively supply an advanced range of Philips professional displays, which are used to enhance the VIP experience of guests in the Paddock Club during F1 race weekends.
