Prolights illuminate the dinosaurs at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center

The exhibition on display at this center in the Netherlands features a lighting design dominated by EclProfile FWTU and EclMini equipment from Prolights.
After more than a decade of excavation, preparation and investigation, five iconic dinosaurs are displayed together for the first time at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center and Leiden (Netherlands). Among them is the majestic herbivore, famous for its 'big steering wheel'’ and its three horns, a true icon of the age of the dinosaurs. This innovative exhibition has been brought to life thanks to Tom Verheijen's lighting design using equipment from Prolights and customized solutions provided by Lightpoint Theater Technology.
To illuminate the dinosaurs and their surroundings, several Prolights luminaires were used, included EclProfile FWTU and EclMini CC, that were instrumental in creating a visually striking experience. These were supplied by their distributor for the Netherlands FullAVL Distribution.
EclFWTU luminaires, equipped with a LED source 3.200 K and 91 x 3 W, provided white tone accuracy; uniformity and shine; wide range of optics including super wide options, allowing for realistic projections that enhance exhibits perfectly.
The EclMini CC, with its compact design and refined optics, They offered precise and sharp projections that completed the lighting setup. Its dimming control allowed for easy adjustments, adapting it to specific areas and creating custom lighting for exhibits.
