The latest generation curved screen INFiLED WP Wrap offers insight into 180 degrees on the future of healthcare at experience centers Practice4Future from Cologne and Düsseldorf.

Amid growing demand for high-tech audiovisual solutions in the healthcare sector, the systems integrator Sigma AV has installed the series of latest generation curved LED screens WP Wrap by INFiLED in two healthcare experience centers in Germany.

Practice4Future is an initiative of the KV Nordrhein doctors' association that seeks to demonstrate how technology can transform medical practices. Your centers of experience, located in Düsseldorf and Cologne, use LED technology to illustrate how digital tools can streamline workflows and transform patient care.

Christian Backes, head of audiovisual integration at Sigma AV, explains that the goal of Praxis4Future is to encourage doctors and healthcare professionals to embrace digitalization, demonstrating the possibilities offered by new technologies.

“The client wanted a space where medical staff and administrators could explore the possibilities of a more connected and digital future.”. “It is designed to illustrate how technology can modernize patient interactions and optimize workflows in healthcare environments.”.

To fulfill the assignment of Praxis4Future, Sigma AV chose the WP Wrap series of curved LED screens from INFiLED.

With a wide viewing angle and high-impact visual performance (with a fine pixel pitch (1,2 mm – 3,1 mm), a high contrast ratio and an ultra-thin design (29,5 mm edge thickness), he dynamic control system WP Wrap series also allows user management at various levels, making it an ideal solution for mission-critical applications, as command centers, monitoring and control rooms.

WP Wrap screens also offer quiet operation, making them suitable for showroom environments where noise-free operation is a must, and are certified as class B for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), which means they meet safety requirements and standards.

At the Praxis4Future experience centers, WP Wrap series displays are used to create curved LED walls that wrap around visitors so they can enjoy a 180° immersive visual environment..

En Düsseldorf, Sigma AV specified a pantalla WP Wrap 1.56 10.8×2.02 meters, while in the center of Cologne the WP Wrap 1.25 7.2×1.35 meters.

Sigma AV opted for Led technology to create an integral screen without visible joints or corners.

“From the beginning, the client wanted a futuristic and elegant configuration: blanca, clean and seamless. Led technology was the perfect choice for this., since it represents the most advanced technology and offers a more immersive experience”, afirma Christian Backes. "Often, Led screens are flat panels next to each other and have corners, But we didn't want that.".

In close collaboration with INFiLED, Sigma AV tailored the displays to the specific dimensions and visual requirements of each Praxis4Future center, aligning pixel pitch and resolution to maintain consistency in visual content in both locations.

The final result is two 180° Led walls that allow visitors interact directly with realistic medical scenarios and help them understand the benefits that new digital tools can bring to the workplace.

“We want visitors to the space to feel that, when they are there, they are inside the story, so that they can better understand the benefits of digitalization and the technological advances of the future”, continued Christian Backes.

According to Christian Backes, the long-standing relationship between Sigma AV and INFiLED, based on the companies' shared dedication to providing unique customer experiences, as well as effective communication between the integrator and the manufacturer in all stages of the project, were the secrets of his success.

From initial planning to final installation, the INFiLED team, led by the vice president of sales for Europe, Andreas Voss, provided support for customizing displays and technical guidance on resolution and pixel density. This allowed Sigma AV to overcome the challenges associated with aligning content for different screen dimensions..
