The German audio brand Beyerdynamic has presented four new models of in-ear headphones (IEM) for broadcast production and has renewed its DT studio headphones 1990 PRO y DT 1770 PRO.
The new Beyerdynamic IEMs (DT 70 IE, DT 71 IE, DT 72 IE y DT 73 IE) offer high quality sound adapted to different needs. They are equipped with the system TESLA.11 dynamic controller of the brand, offering very clear sound with minimal distortion (THD de 0,02 %). These IEMs promise high resolution and a maximum sound pressure level of 137 dB, what makes them “one of the most powerful and clean on the market”, as explained by its manufacturer.
He DT 70 IE features a linear tuning aligned with the Fletcher-Munson curve, ensuring accurate reproduction of low and treble frequencies. In addition, its passive acoustic insulation -39 dB makes it an option for studio and live environments. He DT 71 IE Delivers enhanced bass clarity and treble detail, with slightly reduced mids for a more dynamic feel. The range is completed with DT 72 IE, which emphasizes the natural balance of sound while compensating for the “occlusion effect”, and the DT 73 IE, ensuring linear sound reproduction and a smooth, fatigue-free sound profile, highlighting tonal precision and harmonic details.
In addition to IEMs, Beyerdynamic has unveiled the next generation of its studio headphones: DT 1990 PRO MKII y DT 1770 PRO MKII. Both models feature new premium Tesla.45 drivers and reduced impedance (30 ohms), allowing compatibility with more devices without sacrificing audio fidelity.
With an open design, el DT 1990 PRO MKII is a model designed for mixing and mastering, providing a spacious soundstage and accurate bass response, even at the lowest frequencies; while with a closed design, el DT 1770 PRO MKII is ideal for recording and monitoring. Delivers optimal isolation and a lively sound profile with deep, punchy bass.
These Beyerdynamic novelties will be present at stand 4M530 at Datos Media Technologies y Soundware Media in WHEREAS 2025, which will be celebrated from 4 al 7 from February to Barcelona Fair.
