INFiLED develops a seamless Led cube for Genève-Servette

In collaboration with the integrator Leman vision, INFiLED has created a bespoke solution for Geneva-based ice hockey champions. An immersive LED display stand 96 square meters without distortions, Designed with MV series displays.

INFiLED has been associated with Leman vision, Swiss specialist in audiovisual integration, to design and deliver four sided Led video cube, custom designed, for him Genève-Servette Hockey Club (GSHC). Designed to improve the match experience, offering fans a visual experience from all angles, the new screen 96 square meters offers immersive high-resolution images to the Patinoire des Vernets, GSCH Geneva headquarters, one of the most famous ice hockey teams in Switzerland.

After the recent and historic GSHC double, Swiss and European champion, The team sought to invest in a new LED screen to enhance the action on the field and create a more immersive and attractive environment for sponsors..

In close collaboration with Lemanvisio, your official audiovisual partner, GSHC commissioned a dynamic video cube that offered clear, uninterrupted images and could withstand the technical demands of an indoor ice hockey stadium.

To meet this objective, INFiLED supplied a customized version of their MV series of bright and durable Led screens, already installed in various venues and sporting events, such as the Etihad Stadium in Australia and the UEFA European Championship in France. Designed for high speed playback, Power redundancy and high stability, MV series features a high refresh rate, Anti-glare coating and adjustable brightness to ensure visibility even under the brightest lights.

The installation posed several challenges, including environmental factors such as humidity and temperature gradients within the stadium, and the structural demands of suspending a screen centrally above the ice.

To address these challenges, INFiLED developed a custom solution with 90° curved cabinet corners to eliminate visual interruptions, which means that, no visible gaps or distortions in the cube, viewers can enjoy immersive and uninterrupted images from any angle.

The screen's lightweight magnesium-aluminum frame reduces structural loading on the roof, while its robust mounting system was adapted to ensure safety that exceeds standard requirements. Other innovations included vibration resistance and dual power and data redundancy, protecting against signal or power loss during live gaming, and Led technology with gold thread to protect against oxidation caused by high levels of ice humidity.

Working closely with Lemanvisio throughout the design process, customization and installation, INFiLED ensured that every element of the project met the tight deadlines and technical standards required by sports stadiums such as the Patinoire des Vernets.

The result is a visually impactful Led cube that sets a new standard for indoor sports display technology in the DACH region..
