TD Synnex embarks on its four-year business plan with value and AI as drivers
A four-year growth plan, AI as an ally in business operations and a new logistics center in Spain are some of the keys that TD Synnex has revealed before their meeting explores 2025, held yesterday in Madrid.
The third call for the event explore from the wholesaler TD Synnex, which took place yesterday in Madrid with partners, manufacturers and customers, It began with a meeting with the media, in which the highest representatives of the company in Iberia have analyzed the distribution market and revealed the strategy to follow in the next four years.
This is how he explained it Pauli Amat, vp. the TD Synnex an Iberia: “Our four-year plan is grow an average of 5%, above the market by one or two points, which would mean reaching more than 100.000 million dollars in revenue, thanks to growth in the Asia-Pacific and Latin American markets, and optimize costs with AI in our processes”.
The figures obtained worldwide in 2024, con 82.000 million gross turnover and 1.700 of benefit, are also reflected in the Iberian subsidiary, with sales of 2.500 million euros and a distribution to 10.000 customers from the four offices they have in Spain and Portugal.
“All of this allows us to generate money to provide dividends to shareholders and continue growing”, Apunta Amat, who also clarifies that “it is not a pure distribution business, since data center management for multinationals is also added through Virtue”.
In this process, The manager clarifies that “theTechnology is becoming more complex. Doing a project with a single vendor is almost impossible, and that's why the wholesaler will not cease to exist. We have more and more manufacturers doing their business through us. Also The classic vision of product sales has been transformed, with new services, financing, etc; And the clients have changed too”.
In this last aspect, Amat explains that in the company they call him “the partner of the future; those that integrate and optimize the companies' model, providing the value to be more productive and using the AI in processes”.
Growth in AV and collaboration
Aligned with global growth strategy, with the expansion of the product offering and new customers that arise with the development of different technologies, Pilar Martin, commercial director of the wholesaler in Iberia, points out the growth of Maverick AV Solutions, division specialized in ProAV and collaboration of TD Synnex .
“This year we have expanded our portfolio in the education market with SMART Technologies (more data in Digital AV) and also in collaboration with i3Connect, For example, as well as in unified communications in callcenter as a service with Zoom”, explains Martin.
Another area of growth for the wholesaler focuses on cybersecurity, “a mature business, in which we have acquired specialized manufacturers. “At Iberia we have more than fifty people working for partners and clients”, underlines Santiago Mendez, responsible for the division of Advanced Solutions.
As part of the strategy to expand its operations and services, The Iberian subsidiary has started the construction of a new logistics center, close to the one they already have in Alovera, in the province of Guadalajara, with a ship 100.000 m2, which are expected to finish in October, although it will not be operational until next year “and will be the most advanced in Europe”.
