Christie brings to life the first mountain mapping, sea and lake in China

This production reinterprets the ancient culture of the Southern Song Dynasty and the 'Eight Scenic Landscapes of Ganchuan' through innovative projection mapping techniques. Five Christie DWU1400-GS projectors provided visuals for the live performance ‘White Herons in Spring Bloom’, while four other DWU1400-GS projectors brought to life the poetic scenes of 'Whispers of Dreams Between Fog and Rain' and 'New Luminous Moon', the latter with images projected on a floating balloon that represents a full moon.
For your part, six Christie DWU23-HS projectors powered two visual experiences: 'Illuminated stone bridge', where images of red lotuses and colorful butterflies danced on the bridge; e ‘Danqing Enlightenment: Paint the stone with light” that captivated the public with radiant and painterly visuals. A DWU760-iS projector added dynamic energy to the ‘Blue Stone in Motion’ performance.
To ensure reliable operation, All projection equipment was protected from the elements and installed using roof supports and reinforced structures to resist wind and possible seismic movements.. Cables were buried or mounted in the ceiling to avoid short circuits, and adequate ventilation was ensured. Besides, were implemented emergency solutions such as removable curtains and protective covers in case of extreme weather conditions.
The immersive show has attracted tens of thousands of visitors overnight and contributed to local economic activity, especially in the restaurant and hospitality sectors. Recognized by the China Entertainment Industry Association as a model of innovation in the integration between culture and tourism, The project has consolidated Nanbei Lake as an important reference for cultural tourism in the Yangtze River Delta.
