Tascam has presented the multi-format multimedia system MP-800U DAB, designed for a audio playback fluid in commercial environments like restaurants, hotels, event spaces and similar sound amplification environments. Compatible with SD cards, USB drives, Bluetooth, USB D/A converter and an integrated DAB/FM tuner, offers a flexible flexible alternative to obsolete CD-based systems.

The unit plays audio formats such as WAV, MP3 or AAC from the front panel SD and USB ports and incorporates the USB DAC function (digital-to-analog converter) for direct playback from USB-C devices such as laptops and smartphones. Bluetooth connectivity is enabled with the optional AK-BT2 adapter, allowing wireless streaming from compatible devices.
