Innovation Park in WHEREAS 2025 proved to be a solid launching pad for startups and the initiative will return to the next edition even bigger, with space for 144 startups. The registration process is now open.

Integrated Systems Europe (WHEREAS) presented in this year's edition the space Innovation Park, a dynamic meeting point aimed at giving visibility to startups and innovative projects. The initiative reinforces the organization's commitment to creating opportunities and fostering quality relationships between startups and investors.

Located in the heart of Congress Square, Innovation Park had 80 promotional pods so that startups could present their ideas and establish presence at the event. Participating companies were selected through a registration process, complying with a series of criteria established by the organization.

For many of them, This space was a key springboard for its future growth, providing direct access to investors, partners and experts in the sector. In addition to promotional pods, Innovation Park included a stage for presentations (Pitching Stage), a matchmaking area and, on its opening day, an Investor Forum. An ideal environment to present solutions, raise funding and generate lasting links with a high-level audience.

“Innovation Park was created to support emerging talent in the AV community”, comment Mike Blackman, director general de Integrated Systems Events. “The energy in the venue and the quality of the collaborations reflected the importance of this platform for the future of the sector. The solutions presented, from acoustic simulation and spatial audio to digital signage and intuitive UI tools, responded to real problems effectively. “The market proved to be ready to welcome this new generation of AV pioneers.”

Startup boost

From Iceland, Treble Technologies took advantage of its presence to show the potential of its next-generation spatial audio and acoustic simulation software.

“Innovation Park was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our advances in acoustic simulation”, explains William Demerliac, senior marketing specialist. “Participating in the Investor Forum panel was a key moment to share our experience in growing a startup, from the initial idea to its acquisition, highlighting the challenges and strategic decisions that have led us to success.”

For your part, Vadim Chekirka, CEO of AVGator, highlighted the role of the event as a driver of the technological future of AV.

From Israel, Tecom Electronics, specialized in professional multimedia and AV solutions for hybrid classrooms, meeting rooms and knowledge-intensive projects, found in ISE an ideal platform.

Efrat Elitzur explains: “ISE was the perfect setting to showcase our innovations for immersive classrooms, generating valuable conversations and great interest from consultants, distributors and industry leaders from around the world”.

Global connections and strategic alliances

The diversity of exhibitors at Innovation Park demonstrates ISE's ability to bring together talent from all corners of the world. Gaëlle Dubois, of Lasonnante (France) comments how ISE marked an important step for them. “We had the opportunity to meet with producers, integrators and distributors to explore new applications of our bone conduction sound device and establish strategic alliances.”

Innovation Park was also a recognition platform for startups, by participating in various rewards programs available at ISE. Several of them were awarded Best of Show awards..

Eamon Drew, of Turtle AV (Australia), celebrated the impact of their participation: “Innovation Park was an exceptional opportunity to connect with global clients. Thanks to our presence we get new distributors and integrators. The great milestone was winning three Best in Show awards for our new products. ISE exceeded all our expectations.”
