Martin Audio BlacklineQ reinvents itself with new speakers and subwoofers

BlacklineQ marks the debut of Martin Audio in the design of column type speakers, with passive two-way models Q44 and Q26. These are joined by the point source Q8, Q10, Q12 and Q15; and the Q210 passive subwoofers, Q118 y Q218.

For more than 25 years, the series Blackline de Martin Audio has set a benchmark in professional speakers for its sound quality and reliability, at an affordable price.

BlacklineQ represents a complete reinvention of this iconic series. At the range, composed of nine models, includes passive two-way point source speakers with enhanced features, new column speakers and a series of subwoofers.

The entire series incorporates intelligent design details, making it equally suitable for both portable and fixed installation applications, as portable sound reinforcement for live sound, theater, DJs and corporate events; discreet stage monitoring; and permanent installation in clubs, hospitality spaces, conference rooms and places of worship.

BlacklineQ extols the virtues of careful transducer design to provide coverage, improved uniformity and control. For the first time in its category, Both full-range two-way point source systems and column loudspeakers incorporate high-quality horns. Differential Dispersion (Differential Dispersion), allowing for broader and more uniform coverage, directing less energy towards the ceiling.

In the case of the four point source speakers (Q8, Q10, Q12 and Q15), each passive wooden enclosure, symmetrical and multifaceted, can be installed both horizontally and vertically, and offers extensive mounting options, including wall brackets, yokes, Suspension using eyebolts and mast mounts. A cover for the mast mount ensures a clean, streamlined look when the mast mount is not in use.

BlacklineQ also marks the debut of Martin Audio, brand that distributes Audio-Technica, in the design of column type speakers, with passive two-way models Q44 and Q26, offering elegant and discreet solutions for both portable use and fixed installations, being ideal for the reproduction of voice and musical content.

Finished in highly resistant black or white paint and complemented with multiple mounting options, These new column speakers will significantly expand the applications available in the Martin Audio range.

In addition, BlacklineQ incorporates a range of three passive subwoofer, composed of Q210 models (2×10”), Q118 (1×18”) y Q218 (2×18”), that extend the low frequency response of the entire series.

Enclosures are made of durable plywood and feature slotted ports, which brings efficiency to the design and reduces noise turbulence. Each enclosure includes an M20 housing of 35 mm for mast, allowing seamless integration with all speakers in the series.

The link out output is located at the top of the enclosure, offering a convenient and discreet solution for connecting cable to a BlacklineQ mast-mounted loudspeaker. Standard finish in highly resistant black paint, The Q210 model is also available in white to combine with the BlacklineQ column speakers in white..
