This municipality on the Caribbean island of Martinique has integrated DS-4CU's automated speaker tracking solution. Arec to your conference system and other existing equipment in your room.

The city of Gros Morne, located in the geographical heart of Martinique, It is the second largest on the island, as well as the least populated, with vast areas of forests. Being a mainly rural community, residents often have to travel considerable distances, which limits their ability to actively participate in local political life.

To ensure the solution fit the client's budget, the integrator preserved some elements of the existing conference system, like the original debate and its different types of microphones, all compatible with Arec DS-4CU speaker tracking station.

Arec DS-4CU AVIT VisionIt is the Arec system, brand that sells in Spain AVIT Vision, can Process up to four video sources simultaneously, including computer content, streams video cameras, etc. in custom layouts.

Besides, Arec DS-4CU admitted overlay and background images, with capacity to store up to 254 files of each type, allowing each speaker to be displayed with their own nameplate.

The speaker tracking station combines these layouts and images into unique visual settings for each speaker. When a microphone is activated, automatically displays the corresponding one and changes the user-configured PTZ settings on the cameras to show the one that is active.

One of the video outputs of the DS-4CU station has been converted from HDMI to USB and is used as a webcam input on a computer dedicated to recording and streaming, which broadcasts council meetings live via YouTube.
