DAS Audio brings acoustic versatility to a multifunctional entertainment space in Armenia

Located on the roof of the emblematic Dvin hotel, The Coba Sky restaurant has a sound infrastructure based on Artec and Vantec systems from THE audio, creating a careful aesthetic integration, that respects the architecture of the premises and maintains a uniform visual line in all areas.

The installation carried out in the Coba Sky restaurant on the part of Four Stage has contributed to consolidating this space as one of the most exclusive nightlife destinations in Yerevan. The versatility of the systems THE audio has meant easy adaptation to different environments, demonstrating how a good sound infrastructure can enhance a high-level entertainment concept.

Located in the heart of the Caucasus, Yerevan is a city in full transformation. The capital of Armenia not only boasts of being one of the oldest cities in the world, with roots dating back to 782 a.c., but it is also gaining prominence as a tourist destination. In this context, Coba Sky Restaurant has positioned itself as one of the city's landmarks.

Located on the roof of the emblematic Dvin hotel, this space combines signature cuisine, cocktails and live musical shows. The establishment has a design inspired by Mayan architecture and a careful setting in black tones., gold and white.

Distributed in three main areas plus an outdoor terrace with panoramic views over the city, The venue hosts live music and dance performances every night, with singers, DJs and dancers as a regular part of the programming.

With a wraparound design, a careful lighting system and an atmosphere that evolves throughout the night, Coba is much more than a restaurant: It is one of the key points of nightlife in Yerevan.

Multifunctional space

The main challenge of the project was to install a sound system that could adapt to the different environments of the premises.. during dinners, A soft and balanced sound is required that subtly accompanies the gastronomic experience.. Later, for when the space takes on a more festive tone, music begins to have a main role and the systems must respond clearly, sticky and uniform coverage.

Besides, The place has a very elaborate interior design, so the teams had to integrate visually without attracting attention. The installation also required careful technical planning due to the layout of the space: several connected rooms, open terraces and different uses in each area.

Artec and Vantec for atmosphere and spectacle

The solution was developed by Four Stage, Armenian company specialized in the supply and installation of professional audio systems. His intervention took into account the specific characteristics of each area, guaranteeing optimal sound quality and good integration with the environment.

In the main room, where dinners, shows and DJ sessions are held, ten were chosen Vantec-20A along with six subwoofers Vantec-118A, configuring a powerful and versatile system.
The Vantec series curved fountains have been installed on the second floor of the stage, ensuring uniform coverage in both the table area and the dance floor. Besides, two units have been added Artec-510A as front-fills in an L/R configuration to complete the overall coverage of the main hall.

In the bar hall, more relaxed atmosphere, four Artec-510A have been combined with four subwoofers Q-10A. These last, from the Quantum series, They offer a very discreet result on a visual level and adequate performance for a space with multiple uses..

In the ceremony hall, designed for private events and celebrations, The same solution has been incorporated as in the bar hall, with four Artec-510A and four Q-10A. This configuration has made it possible to correctly cover the space and maintain a minimum presence of the systems..

Four Artec-510 systems have been installed on each of the two terraces.. Besides, The Coba Sky has four balconies in which two more models have been located per area, achieving excellent sound for terraces without compromising aesthetics or interfering with the visual experience.

Thanks to this installation, The system has responded effectively to the different environments of the premises, guaranteeing a quality listening experience and respecting the architectural design of the space.
