The newest and smallest digital surface in DiGiCo, the Quantum112 console, brings professional features and Quantum Range performance to audio productions, anywhere.
For more than five years, the gama Quantum of digital audio mixing consoles DiGiCo has been the preferred choice of many of the best live sound engineers, world's top touring companies and facilities.
Although the model Quantum8 has become the large format console DiGiCo logo, The manufacturer has just presented its smallest and most recent addition to the range: Quantum112, a team of a single screen and twelve faders, the first mixer flypack of the brand.

Based on the 7th generation FPGAs most recent, this console offers eighty input channels, with twenty-four auxiliary or subgroup buses, LR/LCR master buses and one 12x8 matrix, all with full channel processing, in addition to twelve control groups and two alone.
With a 17” multi-touch screen and 1.000 high brightness nits, with measuring bridge and quick selection buttons for fast and intuitive operation, Quantum112 also equips with eighteen single channel TFT screens to provide clear interaction and response to the user.

DiGiCo Quantum112 incorporates the already known functions of this range, as twenty Mustard processing channels; six options native FPGA processing plugin type Spice Rack, and twenty-four of nodal processing. It also has twelve graphic equalizers and eight ranuras FX Rack.
Available at the end of this month of October, Other features of the console are the ADC and DAC conversion of 32 bits de Stadius; las dual DMI slots and numerous I/O options, which include Dante (64 I/O channels to 48 kHz y 96 kHz); MADI (redundant or simple); optional optics; AES and local connections (sixteen analog inputs and eight outputs).
“Our new Quantum112 perfectly illustrates the saying: 'Good things come in small packages' - he says Austin Freshwater, CEO of DiGiCo-. Originally, We commissioned our R&D team to create a rack-mountable Quantum console to replace the SD11, who is already fourteen years old, and they surpassed themselves.".
As Freshwater points out, “Quantum112 no solo can be rack mounted, “But it is also small and light enough when boxed to not exceed the ideal size and weight limits for air travel.”.
DiGiCo R&D Director, Michael Aitchison, He adds that “the initial assignment was a great challenge for our team.”, driving us to investigate new materials, optimize design techniques and reduce topologies in reverse, while improving performance. The new Quantum112 is almost and 70% lighter than the previous model, but it is still incredibly solid and very more powerful”.
