Avixa renews its board of directors in view of 2026

Avixa, the sectoral association of audiovisual and integrated experiences, renews its board of directors with Tobias Lang at the helm as president.

John Bailey, Senior Vice President of Technology and Innovation at AVI-SPL, will be the new secretary-treasurer, while joining the board Loubna Imenchal, Middle East CEO, Türkiye, Central Asia and Africa (Something) en Axis Communications y Cristiano Mazza, partner of Grupo Discabos.

He Leadership Search Committee (LSC) of Avixa has appointed Ilya Bukshteyn, corporate vice president of Microsoft Teams Calling, Devices y Premium Experiences; John Joseph, co-founder and CEO of Blue Rhine Industries; y Christine Schyvinck, President and CEO of Shure Incorporated, for the Board of Directors of Avixa.

Carolina Sosa, financial director of AV Integration, has been elected by Avixa members to be part of the Leadership Search Committee. Besides, Jatan Shah, chairman of the board of directors of Avixa, has appointed Faye Bennett, Founder and CEO of Faye Bennett Consultancy Services, y a Christine Rogers, vice president of XTG, AVI-SPL, to join the Leadership Search Committee (LSC).

David Labuskes, CTS, CAE, RCDD, CEO of Avixa, highlights that the diverse perspectives and commitment of members “are essential to continue improving our support for AV professionals around the world”.

Avixa has thanked the outgoing president of the Leadership Search Committee and former president of the association's Board of Directors, Lai friends, from Las Vegas Sands, as well as the outgoing members of the Board of Directors Christian Carrero, the Kern & Stelly Media Technology GmbH; Laila Hede Jensen, by Zenova; Gale Moutrey, de Gale Moutrey Communications Consulting; y Kaushik Mukhopadhyay, from Avid India and Avid United Arab Emirates.
