Plenary

Plenary, a new collaboration technology company created by the team at Xilica, will be focused on simplifying the implementation and management of medium and large meeting rooms, and will present ISE for the first time 2026 at booth 2-R500.

While huddle rooms are already routinely deployed as standard IT endpoints, the largest rooms continue to unfold room by room, which makes them more difficult to implement, more complex to operate and increasingly difficult to manage consistently as organizations scale. Pleneo has been created to address this gap.

Developed by the team behind Xilica, a professional audio brand with 25 years of history and thousands of large rooms implemented around the world, Pleneo combines deep experience in complex spaces with a new operating model designed for modern IT and UC environments. Instead of treating each room as a custom project, Pleneo focuses on enabling rooms to behave and be managed as a single system, facilitating simple implementation for IT teams and clearer, repeatable delivery for UC and AV channel partners.

In the heart of Pleneo is located Room OS, a software-driven operational layer that defines how medium and large meeting rooms are deployed and operated. Room OS combines secure on-device intelligence with cloud orchestration through Pleneo Cloud, enabling zero-touch provisioning of component-based room systems. The audio, video and room peripherals are integrated into a single manageable environment, delivering consistent, high-quality deployments without manual intervention or room configuration adjustments.

This approach is anchored by RoomHub, the physical heart of the Pleneo room. Originally developed within Xilica and now a core part of the Pleneo platform, RoomHub brings secure, localized edge intelligence right into the room, staying tightly integrated with Pleneo Cloud. When processing audio and video at the edge, RoomHub enables advanced capabilities like AI-powered AutoDeploy, NoiseSense, machine learning based dereverb, video intelligence and IQ Voice Enhancement, ensuring consistent, high-quality room inputs, while keeping low latency and sensitive data on-premises.

By standardizing the way rooms are deployed, are launched and managed, Pleneo eliminates much of the uncertainty traditionally associated with large room projects. Rooms can be delivered and managed as complete systems rather than collections of individual devices, allowing for more predictable results, a cleaner transition and consistent large-scale deployment across multiple locations.

James KnightJames Knight, CEO of Pleneo, highlights that “large meeting rooms are no longer special cases. They are increasingly part of the core of the collaboration environment, and need to integrate naturally into IT and UC operating models. Pleneo was created to offer a new path: one that makes large rooms easier to deploy, easier to operate and with a user experience prepared for the evolution of collaboration”.

When nothing can fail

As collaboration platforms increasingly incorporate smart assistants and AI-powered workplace capabilities, Meeting rooms are becoming critical inputs for how conversations are captured, are summarized and converted into actions. In medium and large spaces, the quality and consistency of system inputs (audio, video and spatial context) directly influence results such as the accuracy of transcriptions, speaker attribution and post-meeting insights. Pleneo is designed to make the delivery of these high quality inputs at scale in complex environments, enabling organizations to embrace intelligent collaboration with confidence and consistency.

Pleneo is designed to be native of TI from the first day. Room OS has been developed with the business security, the scalability and the operational responsibility as central elements, supporting local data sovereignty and aligning with recognized standards, including SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. This enables organizations and their partners to deploy medium to large rooms with the same level of governance and trust expected from modern enterprise systems..

Craig Durr, Chief Analyst de The Collab Collective, points out that “as collaboration platforms get smarter, meeting room expectations have changed. Consistent, high-quality room inputs are now critical, especially in medium and large spaces, where variability has historically undermined results. Pleneo is addressing this challenge at a system level, Which is exactly what the market needs as organizations look to scale intelligent collaboration beyond small rooms.”.

Pleneo launches with immediate product availability through a global distribution network spanning more than 60 countries, backed by customer success teams in America, Europa, Middle East, India and Asia.
