Audio-Technica ATSP-30: the new networked ceiling speaker for corporate installations
Designed as a quality solution for corporate AV installations with quick and economical installation, Audio-Technica premieres at ISE 2026 the new ATSP-30 networked ceiling speaker.
The manufacturer is demonstrating at ISE 2026 how this new proposal is outlined by its smooth and easy integration to create a high-fidelity audio network for small and medium-sized meeting rooms. ATSP-30 speakers are supplied in pairs (one active and one passive) what connect via standard speaker cable.
Mounts flush to suspended or solid ceilings using included hardware. With a diameter of 256,1 mm, they take up minimal space, but they offer a rich and balanced sound with a 140° coverage angle. They are excellent reproduction of low and mid frequencies makes them suitable not only for microphone amplification, but also for background music and audio from video sources. In installations with several pairs of speakers, it is possible to send independent audio signals to each pair, a clear advantage for zoned systems and background music playback.
Uncompressed multichannel digital audio
Equipped with the brand's own protocol Audio-Technica LINK, enabling uncompressed multi-channel digital audio transmission, The new speakers are part of a sound reinforcement ecosystem that includes the Digital SmartMixers ATDM-0604a y ATDM-1012, wireless and ceiling microphones, as well as PCs, all interconnected via Cat5e or higher cable for easy, cost-effective installation.
For the planning phase, ATSP-30 speakers are compatible with AFMG's EASE software, which facilitates 3D acoustic modeling of space. Audio-Technica also offers its own Speaker Layout Tool, which estimates the sound pressure levels for a proposed configuration, as well as the Audio-Technica LINK Simulator application, which calculates the number of power devices needed (like the ATLK-EXT165 extender) within a LINK network.
Once installed, Integrated speaker DSP settings (including equalization 4 bands, sound profile presets, retardation, power limitation, phase reversal and connection status) can be configured through the Web Remote of the ATDM mixer and the Smart Mixer Manager (prepare for the LP speakers), allowing you to optimize the sound according to the acoustics of the room.
