Ocean Portal combina XR, tracking and 3D to evolve DOOH
Ocean Outdoor presents the Ocean Portal format, a proposal designed to transform interior spaces with a large influx of public into immersive experiences in which the public can enter.
With dimensions of 4,5 meters wide by 3 meters high, Ocean Portal It consists of an independent stage in the form of semicube composed of five LED screens high definition: three inside, including the ground, and two outside. Equipped with technology Ocean Labs, system includes real-time motion tracking and mixed reality, and has the capacity 3D DeepScreen by Ocean Studio. Powered by high-performance hardware from the film and gaming industry, as Unreal Engine y Unity.
Thanks to technology LiDAR and at structured light cameras, the public can interact with the content displayed in real time. Los sensors integrated record movement, allowing brands to respond dynamically to both individual gestures and group reactions. Data from these interactions can be used to brand analysis and learning, while on-screen content can be extended to social media as part of integrated campaigns.
The Portal releases this week in the UK, in the Battersea Power Station from London, with a sample of entertainment and tailored content, produced by Ocean Studio. Concretely, includes a interactive game with audio which challenges players to jump off floating ice blocks before they melt.
Brands and agencies can book the Portal as an exclusive and tailored installation for a single activation, or as part of a curated tour concept, allowing multiple advertisers to share scheduled time slots in a single high-traffic location. These may include commercial destinations, shows and festivals, transportation hubs and stadiums.
Nick Shaw, general director of Ocean Outdoor UK, does not hesitate to affirm that Ocean Portal “redefines digital outdoor advertising as we know it”. “It is a key piece of our constantly evolving innovation program to design and develop large experiential environments that serve as programmable scenarios. Instead of asking the public to stop and look, The Portal invites you to enter and become active participants. For brands, is a flexible and fully mobile experience zone that integrates high-quality screens, physical space and virtual production in real time in a single hybrid offer”, explains.
