New Series II at ShoWest 2010

On the occasion of ShoWest 2010 Barco will unveil its new Series II line, based on the latest DLP Cinema technology from Texas Instruments. With this innovative line of DP2K products, Barco builds on the proven benefits of its successful DP series, while at the same time, previews the 4K future and the dramatic rise of 3D cinema. This new range is designed for small and medium-sized cinemas with screens up to 12, 15 y 20 meters wide, respectively.

Barco will also present at ShoWest 2010 a new optional software module that allows users of Series I and II projectors to identify, Diagnose and resolve error conditions without technical support assistance. Diagnostic Companion will be integrated into the Barco Communicator software from version 4.0. Communicator runs as a standard PC application, at the same time as Companion works the Barco DP-1200, DP-1500 and DP-2000 and will be shown on the new Series II projectors at ShoWest. Current Series I users will be able to migrate to the version 4.0 de Communicator.
