For your part, Amir Shaked, Vice President of Product Management at Vidyo, has pointed out that “Vidyo and Barco platforms offer a unique opportunity to see what is possible when the best innovations come together. Today you have to choose between enormously expensive telepresence systems or lower quality and difficult to use video conferencing rooms.. We are setting a new standard in terms of quality, flexibility and price of telepresence creating new markets unreachable by existing technologies”.

The Vidyo Difference

Vidyo's collaboration and communication platform is software-based, is highly flexible and can be easily customized for the video conferencing needs of individual companies and vertical markets. The VidyoRouter architecture incorporates Adaptive Video Layering, that dynamically optimizes video for each endpoint by leveraging H.264 compression technology based on Scalable Video Coding (SVC) and Vidyo IP. Adaptive Video Layering eliminates the MCU and offers great error recovery capabilities, allowing you to work with high quality video over the Internet, LTE and 4G. The platform allows users to take advantage of the latest hardware innovations and new consumer devices, which makes it especially attractive for partners.
