Christie presents in IBC’09 the first SXGA+ and WUXGA resolution LED projection display system, developed for control rooms and video wall applications. The new Christie Entero LED is a pioneering line of LED lighting products from 1 DLP chip offering a “zero maintenance” design. The LEDs have an estimated life of more than 60.000 hours (more than seven years of reliable operation). By not having consumable components such as lamps, filters or color wheels to replace, Christie Entero LED offers the ultimate in performance 24/7 uninterrupted for exceptional reliability and low cost of ownership. Thanks to the new generation of solid state LED technology, Christie Entero LED projection system sets new standards in control rooms with an immensely long lifespan. Because LEDs retain their spectral color characteristics longer, Images stay vivid and sharp for years of operation. LEDs also provide more accurate color matching and a wider range of brightness control and adjustments. Besides, the red LEDs, Greens and blues can be sequenced at higher rates than a mechanical color wheel, keeping any visible artifacts to a minimum. Christie Entero LED projection units feature Christie LiteLOC and Christie ColorLOC technologies for automatic, independent brightness and color management. They also have Christie ArrayLOC, an innovative technology that automatically matches color and brightness levels for each cube, across the entire screen, continuously. The result is the perfect control room solution for video walls of any size, without the need for constant maintenance or adjustments that affect operation and result in unproductive downtime. Con 600 ANSI lumens brightness, Christie Entero LED projection engine is capable of illuminating Christie 50” viewing cubes, 67” y 72”. Besides, These cubes employ high-tech “Cross Prism” displays for higher brightness and wider viewing angles.. Sealed optics eliminate the need for dust filters, while innovative heat pipe cooling technology reduces audible noise.
