Smart Launches Smart Board Series Interactive Display Overlay 400

Collaboration solutions provider Smart Technologies has announced the new Smart Board series interactive display overlay. 400, which can be added to any flat plasma or LCD display to enable touch and ink interactivity.

Smart has brought to market the new Smart Board series interactive screen overlay 400. The overlay can be added to virtually any flat plasma or LCD display to enable touch and ink interactivity. It has DViT technology (Digital Vision Touch) Smart's patented, enabling effective touch control and a precise writing experience. DViT technology also supports common multi-touch movements, such as zoom and scroll, currently recognized by the Windows operating system 7 from Microsoft.

New overlay includes Smart Meeting Pro software and Smart GoWire self-launching cable for enterprise and government customers or Smart Notebook collaborative self-learning software for education customers, enabling more effective collaboration in both meeting spaces and classrooms. It offers simple installation and a sleek, new design., and replaces three existing products – the Smart Board Series interactive display overlay 300, Smart Board interactive display frame and Actalyst interactive digital signage.

Interactive Display Overlay Smart Board Series 400 is now available globally. Featuring a USB-powered optical touch system with five-millimeter thick tempered glass, series overlay 400 maintains the overall appearance of the screen and the quality of the displayed image. Fits most commercial LCD and plasma flat screens in 12 sizes ranging from 42″ a 65″ (106,7 a 165,1 cm) in diagonal, and is compatible with 19 manufacturers and more 250 exclusive models. Passive pens included, without batteries and a pen holder whose installation and use is optional.

For business and government users, the series 400 is an ideal solution to add interactivity to flat screens installed in meeting spaces, training rooms and exhibition areas. Supplied with overlay, Smart GoWire cable connects to a laptop and automatically launches Smart Meeting Pro software.
