BBVA Colombia installs Scati Vision systems in its network of displaced ATMs

With the aim of strengthening its ATM network against fraud and/or attacks on them, BBVA Colombia has developed together with the company Scati Labs, design specialist, development and manufacturing of global solutions for video in the field of security, an ambitious security project consisting of the integration of the data network of operations.

Scati has been the company chosen by BBVA Colombia to provide a solution capable of associating the traceability of operations with video in its ATM network. With more than 400 branches in the Andean country, BBVA Colombia has increased security measures thanks to the implementation of the Scati solution for displaced ATMs and/or ATMs.

The recorders installed in the ATMs are perfectly integrated with the data frame of the operation and allow the tracking of cards and actions through video, thereby identifying fraud in real time and thus activating the existing action protocols to combat it..

Martha Leuro, responsible for fraud management and information security at BBVA Colombia, has pointed out that “from a preventive security point of view, “Scati's solution allows us to activate more automatic processes when detecting suspicious signs in any of our ATMS, which has drastically reduced the number of frauds.”.
