IBASE presents the SI-38 player, Powered by the new AMD Embedded R-Series APU

The Taiwanese company iBASE Technology has presented the SI-38 'Signature Book' player, Designed for digital signage applications and powered by new accelerated processing unit (APU) AMD Embedded R-Series.

The manufacturer of digital signage solutions, iBASE Technology, has announced the launch of the SI-38 'Signature Book', a professional-grade digital signage system contained in an ultra-compact housing and powered by the new AMD Embedded R-Series processor, which allows this new player to maintain an exceptionally small form factor, while enabling powerful graphics capabilities in many different applications.

The 384-core AMD Radeon HD graphics engine 7660 The SI-38 offers superior graphics rendering performance and supports the latest APIs, including DirectX 11, OpenGL4 y OpenCL 1.1.

The system can be wall mounted or used on a desktop. Incorporate Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, analog audio and RS-232 standard, with optional Wi-Fi/TV connections. They can be installed up to 16 GB of DDR3-1600 system memory, as well as a removable external HDD or SSD 2,5 inches. The ultra-thin SI-38 system measures 10,6 by 7 by 1 inches to disappear into tight spaces behind a wall-mounted display.
