The company Leap Motion has developed a device that allows to recognize the gestures of hands, fingers and other 3D objects to perform gestural commands in real time. They say it has a sensitivity 200 times higher than any similar system and at the moment it is only available to developers, but they expect that in 2013 is put up for sale.

Recognizing gestures through a camera is not new, However, the system Leap Motion takes a step further and exponentially increases the accuracy of technology. It is a small device that is placed in front of the computer screen and allows to capture with great precision the movement of our hands, fingers or even objects. A Kinect-style device but that allows us to free ourselves from the shooter, because we can even use our hands as a gun, or write in the air with our fingers, so you can even replace the keyboard or mouse with our own gestures.

According to its creators, is 200 times more accurate than any other device on the market. In addition, its use is very simple since you only have to connect it via USB and does not require any special configuration. It is also supported for Mac OS X and Windows 7/8 and will soon be available for developers to integrate into their applications. And although it won't be released until early in the 2013 can now be ordered online.
