Roland Systems Group Announces iPad App That Controls M-480 Digital Table
Roland Systems Group has a new iPad app to control its M-480 V-Mixer, Ideal for any event production, Centers of worship, Education and Corporate or Government Applications.
Roland Systems Group has developed an iPad application dedicated to controlling the M-480 digital mixing console. The app is designed to control the parameters of the M-480 allowing the user to save scenes and edit the Channel Strip. (EQ), GEQ, and Sends on fader, among others. The M-480 V-Mixer features 48 Mixing channels more 6 stereo returns for a total of 60 canals. The number of buses is high, with a total of 27 consisting of 16 Auxiliary, 8 Arrays and full support for Mono, stereo or LCR sound design. It can withstand up to 90 Tickets and 90 Outputs, all fully assignable via the digital control surface.
Using a wireless LAN to connect, Users are able to adjust mixing parameters on stage or around the room, away from the M-480 located at the Front of House. Connecting Roland's new Wireless Connect USB Adapter to the M-480, it appears on a wireless network enabling the connection of the iPad to the table.

Roland wireless connection
The hardware part of Roland's wireless connection, It's a simple, compact wireless network, a USB WNA1100-RL adapter (that plugs into the USB port of a Roland product or instrument) so that the mobile device can communicate with Roland Pro Audio products, A wireless LAN network of the access point with an Internet connection is required.
