New Mini-ITX embedded motherboard with ARM technology and NVIDIA Tegra processor 3 of Kontron

The manufacturer of open modular solutions for the telecommunications market, Control, has released the ARM-based motherboard KTT30/mITX, which incorporates a Tegra super-processor 3 from NVIDIA and a Cortex-A9 Quad-Core processor card from 900 MHz, that increases multimedia performance and reduces energy consumption.

As part of its “strategic entry” into ARM processor technology, Control has presented its first ARM-based motherboard with Mini-ITX format (170 x 170 mm). The Kontron KTT30/mITX model is equipped with a Tegra super-processor 3 from NVIDIA and combines excellent multimedia performance with low power consumption. The integration of an ultra-low-power GeForce12-core GPU allows the ARM Cortex-A9 Quad-Core processor card to 900 MHz offers great 3D graphics performance, enable resolutions 2048 x 1536 pixels and “spend” less than 7 W.

These features help the board meet the requirements of a large number of embedded graphics and video applications., as 'thinclients', Panel PC and Mini-Box PC in vertical markets.
