Christie takes a big leap into the future at ISE 2013
Christie will once again occupy a prominent place at the ISE fair 2013, which marks the tenth anniversary of the contest, with a display of products with which the North American firm promises to respond to all conceivable application requirements, with the widest range of digital projection and the next generation of display solutions, targeting a multitude of segments including control rooms, the meeting rooms, the corporate sector, higher education, scenography or virtual reality.
As founding exhibitor of ISE, in the edition of 2013 of the largest European fair in the audiovisual sector, Christie once again occupies a large space, intuitive and divided into zones. For the tenth anniversary of the exhibition, the 'little town'’ of Christie clusters the stands H4, H46 and H50 of the Pavilion 1 shaping an explosive product showcase and ergonomically presented. A must visit, Christie's exhibition space debuts a projection mapping façade specially created for the occasion.
Whether in useful applications for boardrooms or applications for businesses, either with Christie MicroTiles or with 3D mapping, visitors to the Christie stand will find a new solution at every turn, Whether you're looking for a 4,000 lumen LCD solution or powerful 3 chips a 35.000 lumens, Basic XGA or the latest in native 4K resolution and/or 2D or 3D platforms.
In this edition the focus is on educating the market, that's why, The stand incorporates a meeting space dedicated to technical service managed by qualified Christie engineers, where free advice is offered to all delegates, who receive information about the complete catalog of services that Christie provides to audiovisual professionals. The initiative is reinforced with a seminar room surrounded by interactive areas of video walls and MicroTiles, with a space presenting the new LCD flat panel for outdoors and with a gallery dedicated to the DLP of 1 chip.
These interconnected areas target a multitude of market segments, like boardrooms in companies, higher education, stage rental, el broadcast, virtual reality and advanced control room environments, next to an area dedicated to hospitality. 3D video mapping examples are projected live using Christie J Series projectors and integrated Christie Nitro moving clamps to create impact on large projection canvases. This innovative interactivity kit that works with Baanto ShadowSense tracking technology allows the simultaneous interaction of multiple users with the content of the Christie MicroTiles or any large format video wall, transforming it into a multi-touch surface. The kit is configurable in 84 different sizes and has the capacity to incorporate practically any large display format, with a maximum width of 6,5 meters and a height of 1,8, or a Christie MicroTiles array of 16 units of width per 6 high. The kit, easy to use and works on a Windows platform 7, Connects on-site to a computer USB port without the need for drivers.
Another world premiere is the outdoor and weather-resistant flat panel FHD551-W LCD, called to lay the foundation for outdoor LCD technology with LED backlighting. Using PCIe bus architecture and the latest in GPU technology, New release delivers great graphics and processing power for multiple inputs and outputs. With simultaneous support for hardware-accelerated 3D applications and ultra-high resolution results, The processor is ready to handle 3D content such as CAD/CAM modeling or data visualization.
But also, MicroTiles - the award-winning video wall based on an LED light source but using DLP optical imaging- They enjoy great visibility throughout the fair. So, Scala shows in its exhibition space a display of 35 cubes, while Premier Mounts has deployed 14 MicroTiles modules forming their own display geometry.
Christie's single-chip 3LCD projectors, Superior quality and reduced cost of ownership, are well represented in the brand's own space. Projection displays include DWU550-G curved and edge-blend screens and DWU675-E screens, LX700, LX605 and LWU501i, while in rear projection from the ceiling DHD775-E surfaces are displayed, LX1200 and L2K1500 facing downwards. The new G Series and the recently added E Series models complete the ever-growing catalog of DLP projectors—LCD and 1 chip—demonstrate Christie's commitment to this market. Expanding collaborative relationships with other manufacturers forged at ISE 2012, A Christie LX41 LCD projector shoots images at the Draper booth (1-M43) while a Mirage HD10K-M projects at the Stewart Film Screen booth (1-F40).
