Honeywell's Galaxy Flex V3 anti-intrusion and monitoring solution for SMEs now includes advanced visual alarm verification technology using image sequencing and enhanced communication options.

Honeywell Galaxy Flex V3The North American security systems manufacturer Honeywell has added advanced video verification technology and enhanced communication options to the Galaxy Flex V3 anti-intrusion and door monitoring system., designed for SMEs.

Galaxy Flex V3 is a cost-effective security and protection solution, with twelve hardwired zones on the motherboard to minimize expansion costs, with EN50131-3 Grade certification 2.

Visual verification feature now included in Galaxy Flex V3 offers customers a faster and more reliable way to verify alarms than existing auditory and sequential methods. The alarm receiving center (CRA) you will receive a series of previous images, during and after the alarm in order to verify a threat quickly and easily.

Thanks to those images, the CRA can carry out a more reliable identification of the reason for the alert, reducing false alarms and avoiding unnecessary use of security personnel resources, installers, etc. in addition to minimizing the inconvenience and penalties associated with false alarms.

Honeywell's Galaxy Flex V3 provides installers with a faster, more cost-effective solution because the control panel box can house the radio receiver, communications modules and other accessories, reducing the deployment of additional wiring and boxes.

Keyboard configuration is quick, which saves time in commissioning the control panel. Once turned on, The panel automatically detects remote peripherals thanks to the plug and play function, no additional training required.

Honeywell Galaxy Flex V3The Galaxy Flex V3 control panel allows end users to manage door control and the anti-intrusion system simply and efficiently through an intuitive interface, as well as a quick start guide.

One of the advantages of Galaxy Flex V3 is the flexibility of communications, so that IP alarm signaling is carried out through an Ethernet or GPRS connection, as well as running on a standard RTC line. Full GPRS diagnostics ensure fast and reliable setup, as well as more flexible installation, since with two-way GPRS communications, installers can eliminate recurring costs currently associated with the use of third-party communicators.

Also, Installers using a Galaxy Flex V3 security system with CRA connection can perform maintenance and repairs from a remote location, thanks to automatic generation of status reports. This two-way remote inspection feature allows the CRA to verify maintenance performed, something most third-party communicators don't offer.

For Marta Marchini, Marketing Manager for Spain and Portugal at Honeywell Security Group, “Galaxy Flex V3 is a simple anti-intrusion and door control solution, cost-effective and feature-rich, designed specifically for SMEs, since they consider the protection of theirs and their assets to be of primary importance. Our message with Galaxy Flex V3 is clear: There is no need to give up anything.”.

This system is integrated with the López Bello receiver and with the alarm management software IBS from SBN and CRA-WIN from Segurycontrol. Besides, other CRA solution providers, such as Bold and Software AG, They are working to complete the integration.
